Avanti Trading first contacted us at Certo Design via our website before meeting up in person to discuss the brand and propose a logo design project.

Therefore our approach to Logo Design always starts with talking to the client about what they want. In other words, we take the time to know your thoughts and ideas first, before generating our own ideas. In this case, we met for coffee and had an informal chat.
After talking about the Avanti Trading business and Logo design we decided on a distinct style that was angular and bold. In addition to this we referenced several logo designs to ensure we had a similar vision in mind.
Once the preliminary meetings were done, we got work! That is to say, it was full steam ahead in the Certo Design office with many logo designs created, using various fonts and layouts. As we had already established the style of the logo it was a case of playing with layout and shape to start with. Then to forward the designs and get feedback on the initial mockups.
All feedback is important and we try to listen carefully and to take it all on board. As a result of the feedback we progressed with a couple of the logo designs, now playing with colour also. During this process we experimented with negative space to subtly communicate the companies business – trading.
